At Kuche Safaris, we recognize that booking a foreign hunting safari is a significant decision for many individuals. Our team is dedicated to assist you throughout the entire process, ensuring a seamless experience from your initial inquiry to the moment you display your cherished memories at home. With our extensive experience in the industry, we are well-equipped to offer valuable advice and support.

To facilitate your planning, we have created a comprehensive guide to booking your African Safari, which details the entire process and serves as helpful information.

While a compact 5-night/-6day hunt can be enjoyable, we highly recommend considering a 10-day/9-night safari if your budget allows. This extended duration not only helps mitigate jet lag but also enhances the range of opportunities available to you, allowing for a more leisurely and enjoyable hunting experience.

We offer three distinct types of safaris for you to choose from.

Select one of our standard hunting packages, which includes:
• Trophy fees for the specified animals in the package.
• You have the flexibility to modify your animal choices, with the package price adjusted accordingly.
• Daily rate covering accommodation, meals, land transportation, and the services of an experienced professional hunter, inclusive of a 14% government tax on the daily rate.

If you have specific preferences, share your wish list with us, and we will create a customized fully inclusive package tailored to your needs.
A la carte Safari
• The daily rate includes a 15% government tax. Hunt animals as opportunities arise, with prices based on our standard price list.

In any of the above options:
Additional trophies can be added at the listed price.
Guests will be greeted upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and returned there at no additional cost upon completion of the safari.
We also offer add-on tours and photo safari day trips for your enjoyment.

Once you have chosen the safari you wish to book, the safari contract will be prepared and signed, detailing all aspects of your upcoming adventure. A deposit will be required, which varies based on the type of safari selected.

  2. If availability permits, you can transfer the deposit to our USA account (please retain proof of payment).
  3. Make your airline reservations as soon as possible to potentially save on costs.
  4. Send us the confirmation, and we will be all set.

Terms & Conditions:

  • A deposit of $1,000 is necessary to secure a booking for plains game, while a 20% deposit is required for a Big 5 safari.
  • Due to banking fees, commissions, and transfer costs associated with wiring funds to South Africa, a 3% fee will be applied to the amount paid to our USA account after your hunt.
  • This fee does not apply to your deposit or any outstanding taxidermy fees.
  • The remaining balance is due after the hunt.
  • Trophy fees must be settled for all animals that are killed, wounded, or lost before departure.
  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable to the following season upon negotiation.
  • All payments should be made in cash or to our USA account prior to your return to the USA; please coordinate with your bank.
  • A 15% Value Added Tax applies to any animals that are wounded, lost, or not exported. All taxes paid during your safari can be reclaimed at the airport upon departure.
